Board Policies & Governance

Nonprofit Status

The Oakton Cougar Crew Boosters Club is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Our primary mission is to fund and support the Oakton High School rowing program through community engagement and fundraising efforts. Contributions to OCCBC may be tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.

Board Meetings
Club Bylaws

The OCCBC Board meets monthly throughout the year. All Crew families and community members are welcome to attend general sessions. Meeting agendas are shared in advance via our newsletter, and official minutes are available to all members upon request. We believe in transparency and encourage parental involvement in our decision-making process.

Our bylaws provide the structural framework for OCCBC operations, including officer roles, election procedures, and financial oversight. These guidelines ensure our club operates fairly and effectively for our athletes. Any Oakton Crew family can review the complete bylaws by contacting the Board Secretary or accessing them in the Member Portal.
