Oakton Crew offers Winter Conditioning after school for Crew teammates who are not involved in winter sports or other consistent athletic endeavors. Participation in Winter Conditioning is not required to be part of our 2019 racing team, but is strongly recommended if you are not in another sport.
To participate in Winter Conditioning, all students must be registered for Crew and have all required forms submitted TWO DAYS prior to appearing at practice.
Winter Conditioning meets in the OHS cafeteria.

NEW THIS YEAR: Students staying in the school building from 3 - 4 p.m. for Winter Conditioning must participate in Crew Study Hall in the cafeteria - students are no longer allowed to be in the hallways without a coach or parent, due to construction. Parents must sign up for at least one chaperoning shift between November and February if your student plans to stay in the building for the interim hour. (The chaperone shift is not considered Crew service).
Oakton Crew coaches encourage wise time management — if you have an issue with the after-school schedule or need additional time for school projects or exams, please speak with your coaches to discuss options.
