Oakton Masters
Ever watch a regatta race and think that looks fun or "I could do that" well here's your chance with the Oakton Masters “Learn To Row” This program is back by popular demand. Led by Coach Tom Bennett, the three-session "Try it Out" program will begin next Saturday, June 19, 2010 at 8am at the boathouse. Practice Saturday will go from 8am until 10:30 and will cover some of the basics about boats, and offer you the first opportunity to get on the water. The second and third practices will be on Tuesday June 22 and Thursday June 24 from 7PM (sharp!) until 8:30. Once you’ve been through this program, you’ll surely want to join the Oakton Masters as they row in their second season. Send Tom a note if you’d like to come and try rowing – he’d like to hear from you and know a little more about any rowing experience you may have. Come and try it, and gain a new appreciation for our rowers’ accomplishments! CONTACT: Coach Tom Bennett – tkbennett@cox.net
