*Several of you still have outstanding paperwork, please send your forms in now. I have sent out reminders to each of you, but please contact me if you are unsure of your status.

* Swim tests for new rowers aren't due until February, but why not take advantage of the upcoming long weekend to go for a swim and get that test out of the way. The swim test form can be found on the documents and forms page.

Board Assistance

The board has been working on preparations for the 2008/2009 season and we are looking for assistance in several areas:

• Many people have asked about a bus to on-the-water practices at Sandy Run and we would like a parent volunteer to work with our Logistics VP to further investigate this possibility. Please contact Frank Driscoll if you can help with this.
• We need to do an internal audit and would like to have a couple of parents who are not board members to assist with this.  If you are interested, please contact Bob Glomb
• In addition to the internal audit, we would like to know if there might be a parent who is a CPA and would be willing to help with a more complete audit  that would help us qualify for more corporate grants. Again, please contact Bob if you can help with this.
• Also, we would like to form a committee of parents who might be able to assist with corporate fundraising.  Please let Damian Danowski know if you are willing to work on that.
• And finally, if you would like to help the board in any other capacity, please let Toyin Martschenko know and/or come to our next board meeting on September 3rd at 7:30pm in room 172 at the school. All parents are welcome and encouraged to attend! It takes a lot of parent hours to make this sport happen for our rowers.
